Ecotricity, the UK’s leading green energy company, has launched the first high performance electric sports car ‘Nemesis’ designed and built entirely in the UK. The wind energy-powered ‘Nemesis’ was created, developed and built in less than two years by an ‘A-team’ of leading-edge British Formula One engineers in Norfolk, the company said in a statement.

Power: Two 125KW motors = 330 bhp equivalent
Power source: 96 x 100 A/h 4.2 V pouch lithium polymer cobalt cells, charged with Ecotricity

Time to charge: Under 2 hours from empty to full with fast charger, 8 hours with 13A overnight charger
Charging: 64A three phase or 240V 13A household socket
Emissions: 0g CO2 when charged with green electricity from Ecotricity windmills
